Today I was fortunate enough to have a GHO with the developers of Sphero Glass. They were kind enough to talk me through the install of two of their apps so I could demo them at various speaking engagements this summer. One will be ISTE next week another will Ed Teach Teachers Future Learning Summit in Chicago in late July. The “okay glass drive sphero” app lets you use your head to manipulate the robot with the Glass. The “okay glass go sphero” app uses augmented reality + glass + the robot. Tomorrow is the second to last day of the school year with the kids and they are going to be happy campers when engage in a deep and meaningful STEM lesson. It is not a kinesthetic or “hands on” activity but rather a “hands off” activity that teaches kids about coding.
