Day 39 of Google Glass in the Class – Why Device Smash?

“Necessity is the mother of invention.” I did an Ed Tech Teacher Webinar with Beth Holland and we discussed the impetus of my device smashing. If you are a teacher who is a Glass Explorer you quickly realize that the whole class wants visual access to the POV of the person using the Glasses. So that is why I started using the screencasting function of the My Glass App share the Glass POV with the whole class. Then once I saw how great this was, I had to share it with the world, hence the use of Refector to record what was going on on the Glasses on the laptop.  The iPad plays a great role as a medium in this process.
