Student Made AR AppSmash with DAQRI

I had a great experience using the DAQRI platform in my classroom teaching and learning with 8th grade students today. I had used Enchantium to teach the principles of soundwaves in my Physics class but then I realized that I could use it teach a math lesson and I got really psyched. We did an exploratory activity in which we talked about the shapes of graphs of sine, cosine, and tangent functions. Then we looked at the shape of the soundwaves in the 4D Augmented Reality app and reflected about how all of this was related to math.

Then we app-smashed and synthesized our learning with iPhoto and iMovie. This whole activity took about 45 minutes. Perhaps you could use this in your own learning environment.
